Find the subjunctive verb of the subordinate clause– ANALYZE it (person, number, tense, voice, mood) 3. BRACKET the subordinate clause (begins with ut ends with subjunctive verb).

3. BRACKET the subord clause (from ut/ne to the subord verb)

4. TRANSLATE the MAIN CLAUSE.

5. TRANSLATE the SUBORD CLAUSE (use “so that… may…” or “so that… may not”
